A new representative in the US

ACSA is proud to announce a regional partnership with Symphotic TII Corporation a major supplier of scientific and technical equipment to North American industries, universities, government, military and law enforcement headquartered in Camarillo, CA.

The agreement highlights the emergence and maturity of UW GPS positioning and tracking GIB systems as a cost-effective and capable product for use in a variety of divers, ROV, AUV positioning and guidance projects.

Recently, Symphotic TII Corporation has been awarded a contract to provide installation and training for the GIB-Lite at a prestigious U.S. research facility.

"I was very pleased with the GIB-Lite system when I visited ACSA in France last month." says Roberts.  "Although we had planned to do classroom training first and then sea training, due to the weather we went to sea my first day.  Even without classroom training, I was able to successfully deploy the GIB-Lite after only a brief introduction to the system on the dock.  Used to USBL location systems, I was very impressed with the simplicity of setup and operation, as well as the locations accuracy of the GIB-Lite."
